I receive ESA support group,NI credits only so i don't receive any money. Do they get in touch when it is nearing the end of the award? I have heard nothing since being awarded in April 2016.
I'll phone next week just wondering if you guys know.

When they do send you that ESA50 form then more evidence will be needed and possibly another assessment. I'd leave well alone and not ring them.0 -
Totally agree with poppy12345. Don't call them, they will contact you if they want to reassess you. You have absolutely nothing to gain by being reassessed, but possibly much to lose. It's far from unknown for somebody whose condition has not improved to suddenly be told they are either being moved to the WRAG or are now fit for work.0

I disagree, phone them and ask for the exact date re-assessment will begin. See the other thread you replied to.
Did you originally get 1 year of contributory payments? Again see the other thread about ESA after 12 months.0 -
I had my first assessment in October 2011 and wasn't reassessed again until June 2017.
It really all depends on how busy your area is/B]0 -
I have been on assessment rate since November 1st last year and not had an assessment yet. Is this normal?0

The OP says they are in the Support Group and only receive NI credits. That suggests they have pension income so may well not have been entitled to payment even in the first 12 months.
What possible benefit is there to the OP by chasing a reassessment?0 -

So they can phone ESA if the ESA50 does not arrive.0 -
The benefit is they will know when to expect their reassessment process to begin so they can mark it on a calendar or create an reminder on their computer.

I missed that.

I'm with poppy on this one. The OP will continue to get their NI credits until and unless ESA get round to calling them back in for reassessment. History suggests that may be much further down the line than the 2 or 3 years they were told would be the case. The OP is doing absolutely nothing wrong by not chasing or reminding ESA of their own system failings and can simply get on with their life.
I stick with my previous advice to the OP which is to take no action as there is absolutely no benefit to them in chasing a reassessment.0
