Sick pay

Hello, very new here so bare with me
I had an operation this week and had been signed off work for 7 days as a result. My wage slip just came in saying I am only going to receive £62.14 in sick pay, yet 2 of my colleagues received £115 with the same sort of note for minor infections. My loan repayments are £60 a week so this leaves me with £2.14 to live on - ironically I was planning on going back to work early as I've been signed off for a second week too but don't think I can actually afford the transport in now.
Does anyone know anything about this? Wage dept in the office are only in Monday-Friday so I won't get a response from them until then, but their lack of consistency or explanation when we have been off sick means noones got a clue what the right amount we should receive is.

What does your contract say about sick pay? Is it just statutory sick pay?
Don't forget the qualifying days don't count. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
