Worked Hours for WTC

Hi,

I have been offered a job where the salary is pro rata as only required to work term time.

The salary is based upon term time plus four weeks holiday but paid in 12 equal payments.

How do I work out my weekly working hours for tax credit purposes as presumably I will have to reduce the figure to allow for the weeks I won't work?

Term time workers are considered as working their usual working hours all year.

So does that mean I'll qualify for the extra amount for 30+ hours per week even though the total number of hours worked in the year will only equate to 26 per week if worked over 52 weeks?

It isn't averaged over 52 weeks. If you work 30hrs per week term time then you are considered working 30hrs all year.
