Plevin for Credit card

Hi all,
Wonder if you have any advice.
I had a credit card with PPI since 1997. The bank acknowledged it but said I was not mis-sold the insurance. I am certain they never told me it was optional. Regardless, they send me a form to pursue the Plevin route. I sent the form and after a few weeks they came back with an offer. My question is: does this offer seem reasonable. (The offer is for the Plevin, i.e. the over 50%)
Insurance premium: Around: £650
Bank's total offer around: £300.
PPI was from 1997 till 2011 say about 14 years in total before I canceled it.
Thanks all.

It was over 20 years ago. That sort of time period would require evidence. Such as the application form.My question is: does this offer seem reasonable. (The offer is for the Plevin, i.e. the over 50%)
