Try the Land Registry“Isn't this enough? Just this world? Just this beautiful, complex

For England and Wales you will need to apply to the Land Registry for a search of the Index of Proprietors Names using form PN1. You will also need to provide proof of your ID and proof that you have an interest in your late husband's property.
The guidance on how to do this is here: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/searches-of-the-index-of-proprietors-names/practice-guide-74-searches-of-the-index-of-proprietors-names.
However, if you are not a UK resident, and/or if you find the language barrier difficult, you might want to consider asking a lawyer in England to help you with this. They can ensure that you provide the right documentation and submit the request correctly.0
