Evidence reubuttal characters

Hi, sorry, have probably not posted in the right place. Have got to rebuttal of evidence stage with my POPLA appeal re a PCN (got lots of help on this site - thank you but probably got a lot of it wrong). Anyway, I want to post my response to Operator's evidence on POPLA but it seems to show I only have 2,000 CHARACTERS to do this. Is this correct (can't find anything on MSE on this. I prepared 2,000 WORDS)! It has to be in today. Can anyone clarify - 2000 characters or 2000 words. The Operator's evidence was about 24 pages long. (Tho' mine was 28!). - Thank you very much.

2000 characters, and do try to stick to it.

Your comments do not have to be full paragraphs, so remove the connectives, and do not state your appeal all over again.

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences.

Parking Eye, Smart and a smaller company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They nearly always lose) and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P.

The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind most of these companies may well be put out of business by Christmas.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • Just to quickly let you know I have just won my appeal on the grounds of a non compliant NtK. Will post it up when i can in the next day or so. Thank you for your help and helping me to get my head around the issues.
