Parking Eye - Salford precinct

Hi all need some advice,
Now this car park doesn't specifically say it's for ALDI only as there is 2 sides (well to me there is. You drive in and can turn left or carry straight on an follow it round)
Anyway I was in a salon and because the girl was running behind I ended being 1 1/2 hours over the free parking period
Anywho I got a Lovely parking fine but to my k knowledge I didn't even know there was a limit and the girls at the salon never said anything about moving my car?
How can I appeal against this ? I don't have receipt or will the manager vouch for me ?
If you don't know basically Aldi is in with the 'shopping centre' and this salon is a stone throw away but is facing the car park aswell
Please help me as I think it's ridiculous and wouldn't have bothered
