Just say you have a kid - this government will throw money at you from all angles. Cynical I know, but unfortuately very true

Please post some more information on your statement, i am very intrigued.

My apologies if i mis-read your post. I would like these ramblers to post their findings on the garbage they have posted concerning 'single parents' who have free houses and loads of dosh being thrown at them from all angles.
God help them if their world comes crumbling down and they find themselves claiming a benefit. It seems they have their heads stuck up their backsides!

Would that it were true! I find myself hoping that some of these arrogant fools with their sweeping, ill-informed opinions and judgements would find themselves, through circumstances that they can't control, having to live on benefits for a good long time so that their appliances all break down and they can't afford to replace them, etc. etc. just so they can have a taste of what they believe to be so easy.

Oh, i'm sure they'll be along posting 'appliances thrown from all directions':rotfl:
People shouldn't slate 'single mums on benefits', no-one knows anyones past, what they've done or how they came about to be claiming.
I can't stand folk who think they are above 'benefit claimers' i'd rather be claiming benefits with a personality than working with a huge chip on my shoulder, minus the head as it's up my backside!

    What goes around comes around!

As a single parent who left a husband with drink issues I agree with your quote totally.
I live quite comfortably on benefits as I don't go out or have sky lol.
My washer broke in July and its took me since then to save for a new one.I get it delivered Monday.
I am currently training as a teaching assistant in order to get back into work.
Yes I am a single mum on benefit and it was my choice but I am now doing something about it.

I'm a single parent, for a year now i've been on my own. I left my husband who had a drink problem.
I was running my own business during the day and going out working at nights. Now i'm studing from home so i can get a decent job soon.

My tumble dryer broke on the 7th june this year, i'm nearly 3/4 the way there to buying a new one, it's been a hard struggle and sadly with xmas coming i doubt i'll get my tumble.

So i must bog off to the social so they can throw a tumble dryer at me and bags of cash for xmas:p

With child care costs there isn't much in it, off the government if you have a child you get :

    A free house
    Tons of benefits
The more children you have, the more money you get.

What more does one person need?, even wondered why there is so many teenage pregnancies, its not just because lads can't keep their trousers on, the benefits are all to clear!

I cant beleive people like this still exist ~ I'm ashamed to think I share a gene-pool with this kind of bigot!!
