Duality card payment protection

Hi
I Enquiried recently to hsbc bank as to if I ever had any products with them that could be looked at in relation to PPI or the PLEVIN ruling.
They sent me a letter today stating that I had the above protection of duality card repayment protection which was started in October 2007.
They have given me the account number which the protection relates to and have said as a result of this letter I may wish to make a complaint and should fill in the online form from the financial ombudsmen.
So, basically I am after advice as I don’t even know what type of protection this even was or what it was for. Also am I even entitled to make a complaint ?
Any advice be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Greg
