Hi,
Can any meter readers help out.
I'm trying to switch suppliers and have been asked for a meter reading. The meter is an EDMI ATLAS Mk7B Smart Meter, and there are loads of menus to scroll thru. I cant figure out which is the actual reading that I need to submit.
Thanks - Kev

Are you business or domestic or eco 7 . In domestic with a single rate tariff first screen may show Rate 1 with 8 digits .First 5 digits up to the decimal point is the reading.
what is displaying on the meter ?0 -

Why cant they just be like the old meters and have one line to read ??0 -
The one that says kWh before or after the read.
Why cant they be like old meters? Because site managers and electrical engineeers of a commercial building need more than just consumption to date when monitoring their bills and usage.0 -
Total kwh will be 04054 . The meter can t have been installed too long0

Also this is not a smart meter. It is a AMR remote read meter.
It is not used in domestic situations, and will need to be changed.0 -

The reading from 1st Dec could be wrong though.
This is a maximum demand meter, which isn't really suitable for domestic use so needs to be changed ASAP.
It's likely the profile class will also need changing before you can switch to a residential tariff.0 -
