Ending Tax Credits

Hello,
I have informed Tax Credits that I will cease to be entitled at the end of this Tax Year and do not wish to claim for 2018-2019 nor would I be entitled.
I understand I must submit details of my income for 2017-2018 when asked to do so to complete my claim for 2017-2018.
I have just read on another thread that there is a 4 week run on afterwards. This would take payments into the next financial year. Would these payments be at the 2017-2018 rate or would this result in me having to fill a form in 2019?
Thank you for any advise.

Why will you cease to be entitled?0

Normally if you cease to be entitled and the payments run into the next year they get accounted for during the following review period. Which gets quite interesting when you get a "final decision" letter the best part of 15 months after you stopped claiming... So yes you would probably get a notification in 2019 for those two weeks.
Its a strange system. Always has been.0 -
