  • No, Donnie. It's only important if one wishes to avoid the attentions of pretetentious little pedants who think far more of themselves than others do.

The information was not misleading. Yours was - once again - totally wrong, as you implied that no machine has such a construction (i.e utterly incorrect), whereas I am telling you that they do (i.e. factually correct). Keep arguing a lost point: it does you great credit.

As for Capita, I have the old payslips and I can track the time when it changed from DSGi and we all moved over to Capita. I know who was calling the shots, and I know how the ethic changed and which managers were coming in to annoy the workforce. I know the term of endearment the current workforce uses (Crapita) because they don't like it, either. I remember the livery change. And I also remember pointing out that this refers to the phone support people - the people being bad-mouthed by your ilk in the threads in question.

If you want to just pointedly state the opposite to try and gain some credence, carry on: as I said, it does you great credit. Once more, you are talking hogwash whereas I am stating fact based on evidence

Your posts consist of the same old line: must show how good I am by saying how bad someone or something else is. Only way is to fix my lamprey-lips on to them and suck hard :D

Implied? No, you assumed. Only you seem to have read that implication. Not surprising.
    My actual words,
It's generally just a matter of removing the outer cover
    My next statement was fact:
Often? I have never had to remove a circuit board to free a stuck videotape.

    Whereas you,
You can get them out, but it often means removing the main circuit board, so unless you know what you're doing you may want to take it into a repair shop.

It's not the kind of thing you can easily talk someone through via a forum because they're all different and often quite obscure

The cost of repair is such that buying a new tape recorder is most likely going to be cheapest (Tesco do them for £32, but a repair shop could easily charge that just to look at it).
    have it done and dusted.

According to you, he shouldn't even bother to try to fix it, just head down to TESCO buy a new one. How helpful.

Maybe the machines with the oddly placed circuit boards you opened up were from the highly regarded MATSUI range.

As I've written before, it would be abuse to call someone who wasn't an imbecile an idiot. In your case, it's utterly appropriate.:)

You didn't even understand what was happening at your own workplace and still don't. Goodness knows what rubbish you spouted whilst you were actually working there. Tech Support indeed. Twerp.

I had long since checked the articles regarding Capita's involvement with DSGi.
It was very considerate of you to consider FallingOverMan's mental health by not posting the conclusive proof that he is wrong.

I too haven't linked to it because I like to see the fool falling over himself.

Isn't it you who sends argumentative PMs to others?

In fact, Superscaper posted an article about DSGi and then decided to remove it, as he didn't want you filling his PM box with your diatribes. I read it before he removed it.

You can write what you like. There's little you can do to convince me that you are anything but an imbecile.

    Capita = Customer Contact Centre.

Hmmmm.... He's fallen over. His post has disappeared. What a waste of time and space.

I've decided to remove all my posts from this thread as I don't want to keep receiving the unreciprocated nasty comments. It has now got to the stage of blatant made up libellous lies about me. Which everyone who knows me and has actually bothered to look at my post history will see how ridiculous the claims being made are. So I shan't be posting on this thread to "defend" myself as it's getting far too surreal and viscious. And impossible to do when everyone knows I don't resort to actual personal abuse. I'm only leaving this post as an explanation for my "missing" posts.
