Car Hire - Alamo UK - Easycar

I booked with easycar to pick up a hire car for 5 days from Stansted. They subcontracted to Alamo.
Couple of warnings you need to know if you do the same - and I expect this applies to all Alamo bookings:
1) Alamo give you the car with a full tank of petrol. You are charged for the full tank. £37 in my case for the cheapest car. I didn't use all of the petrol that I was charged for, but I am not eligible for a refund. This is a scam!
2) As part of Alamo working with Essex Police in a joint 'car theft initiative', everyone is being asked to provide a fingerprint sample. Now of course, if you've committed no crime you've nothing to be afraid of, but....
I did have a quick search for other postings on this, and would be grateful for a point to another thread that is already dealing with either/both of these.
