Not sure what 2005 version has over 2004, but wouldn't you be better buying Norton Systemworks 2004 from Bigpockets for about £13.50 incl. del? That way you can just download the latest system changes and virus definitions for Norton AV, and you also get all the other systemworks functions as well.

Or you go to PC World which is doing McAfee Virusscan 2005 for £17.49 if you use the collect instore option.
You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.

I've been using Norton for several years but have now switched to AVG - and you can get it 100% free and legit!!!

It has had some very good reviews in PC press and you can get it direct from them for free (home use only).

Works well for me (found a trojan - Norton missed!).

100% detection rate of AVG Free System is continuously certified by independent ICSA laboratories and is regularly updated.

    Give it a try.

AVG cannot detect or remove the VBS.YPSAN virus which is doing the rounds this week, I'v ordered Norton works 2004 from Bigpockets to deal with it.

Another option if you are not worried about a manual would be to buy an oem version of Norton Internet Security 2005. I recently bought one for £17.25 + carriage + VAT from Micro Direct.

I used to buy Norton but now use free Avast which does the same job and updates itself.
