House sitting

Hi,

I've got some time off next week and thought about house sitting to discover a new part of the country/get to spend some time caring for pets. Does anyone do this, which website is the best? How hard is it for new house sitters to get jobs as such?

Thanks

You need to get registered with the company which will include a background check and criminal disclosure.
Would you want anyTom, !!!! or Harry moving into your home?

This will take time so not likely to be completed by next week.

Generally, you are restricted as to how long you can leave the premises for in a day.

Look online for petsitting sites and check out their requirements for sitters.

Experience of looking after the type of pet you are sitting for would be a requirement for any pet sitter I wanted to use.

They have been spoken about highly, although you have to pay to join as a house/pet sitter.

Have a look at https://www.christian-housesitters.com we have sat twice and had sitters once through them. All went well, we even flew to South France, the owners picked us up and when they went away we had the flat and car for nearly three weeks, just had to look after two very fussy cats!
