PPI please help.

A few years ago I filed for PPI myself, to cut a long story short, the company (central trust), said It was too long ago, so I went to the ombudsmen and they said no too. This was early 2017. So I threw all my hard work and paperwork away thinking that was that, now this new rule came out so I was wondering if it's possible to do anything now. The loan is actually still on going and was taken out around 2001. Any advice very welcome..:(

I assume you mean the Plevin ruling. This does not allow you to redo your complaint. That remains rejected. However, it does allow you to raise a plevin complaint against the lender if the commission was not disclosed to you.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
