Our bathroom was fitted before we moved in. How do I identify what make the toilet is so I can get a new toilet seat. Cant see any stamp or anything on it

You don't need to know the make, most new toilet seats come with adjustable fittings to fit any pan, or measure the distance between the hole centres on the pan and check the seat fixtures before buying.0

There are all sorts of shapes of toilet seats now.
Make a paper template of the shape of the seat & the eerrrrr hole.
The you can check in the DIY sheds for the same shaped seat.0 -
Look for a number under the cistern lid, then google it.
