Easiest way to claim PPI

Hi all,

I was wondering what is the easiest way to claim back PPI without having to try and remember what loans, payday loans, credit cards etc you have had over the years. Is there a quick and easy hassle free way of doing this? I understand some companies will do all the hard work for you and would also take a cut of the payout, but does anybody have any reliable and trustworthy company they have previously used? Also what is the approximate timescale of receiving the funds?

Thank you in advance.

No company will do the work for you. They simply buy the stamp.

You need to remember who you had PPI with, or ask the lender, and then send your complaint to themMdirectly.

Easiest way is to complain directly to the firm involved. Its free of charge and the method that is most likely to succeed.

All the companies have to get you to try and remember what loans, payday loans, credit cards etc have had over the years. They have no way of doing this "hard work" for you. You fill in the same information on their complaint forms as you would do on any complaint you made directly.

You can TRUST any and all claim companies to charge you around a third (plus VAT) of any redress you might win. You can RELY on them all to rip you off in this manner.

I doubt anyone on these forums would recommend any CMC.
Also what is the approximate timescale of receiving the funds?
Slow down, you need to search your memory (or your archives), work out who you're going to complain to, what you're complaint reason(s) are, submit them to the companies concerned and await their response, before anyone can begin to speculate about timescales.
