Loan Shark?

So my friend sent me through £17.50, i clicked it and the "Reference" says "Loan Shark" is this bad? do i need to do something or not? ive been doing some research and it says how Loan Shark is bad etc etc, but will i be affected?

    You can type anything in the reference, up to (IIRC 18 characters).
    Your friend could have put "pornography" , "sexual favours" or "gullible person"

    It won't have any impact on you at all.

    If you had taken out a payday loan, then that could affect how future lenders might view you. However, that payday loan would be shown on your credit reports, which is where lenders will get their information from.

    The reference "Loan Shark" on an incoming payment to your account will not be reported on your credit files.

    That is quite funny though.

    I volunteer in a place which helps people with benefit claims.
    Had a very nice lady come in wanting help - looking through her statement her boyfriend had sent her some money with the reference 'Thanks for the great sex'.

    The last time I sent a friend money from a split meal I gave it the reference anal bleaching
    Unfortunately anal bleaching refund wouldnt fit :(
