HBOS credit card ppi claim

It is 2 weeks since I answered questionnaire regarding my ppi credit card claim. Since then I have given the exact same info to HBOS regarding a loan ppi I had with them - which they have upheld. The loan issue was addressed within one week- however I Sam still awaiting outcome of the credit card.
As it was the same info- is it not strange that they have still not given an outcome?

If they reject the credit card ppi claim, have I grounds to challenge this, seeing as they have upheld the loans ppi (using the same personal circumstances )??

Thanks in advance

Credit card sold by a different person via a different process at a different time with applications and details stored in different locations. Plus, there is the potential for auto-payout.

No. Loan PPI is upheld in the majority of cases. Credit card PPI is about 50/50. You could get upheld on a loan PPI for product or technical reasons that do not apply to credit card PPI.
