check your credit report and see if there is anything on there that may be putting them off.
You shouldn't have more than 3 credit checks by different companies within a 6 month period, otherwise your credit rating may be affected.
Have you any late payments in the last 6 months or holding alot of credit on old unused cards?
It may simply be a case of LTSB not being one of the most generous lenders. Someone like virgin may be a better alternative, but have a search on the forum to see who might be best.
As they take into account income in calculating your credit score, could this be a factor? After falling off the gambling wagon (twice): £33,600 (24,000+ 9,600) - Original CC Debt: £7,885.91
Dad Gift 6k ¦ Savings & Inv Tst: £2,500
Loan 10k: £0 ¦ Dad 5.5k: £2,270 ¦ LTSB: £0 ¦ RBS: £0 ¦ Virgin £0 ¦ Egg £0
Total Owed: £2,270 (+6k) 11/08/20110 -
yup i would give them a call and see whats going on if nothing shows on the credit check0

I find it hard to believe you were turned down by LLoydstsb for a card. Was it not them a few years ago that accepted an application from a dog.0

Not at all helpful, but funny!
