Egg card/Canada Sq Op problem

Hi. What should I try next - applied to Canada Sq Ops with a compliant last April asking about reclaiming Egg Ppi from early 2000s (I didn't have very many details just adress I lived at). They wrote back to confirm they are no longer the owner of the account (as of 28/4/17) and they had forwarded my complaint on to the relevent company - Barclaycard customer relations dept. I then forgot all about this until now but I have not received anything from Barclaycard acknowledging my complaint. What should I do from here ? Resubmit my complaint? Complain to the ombudsman? Many thanks-
Paul

Clearly, your forwarded complaint never made it to the correct destination.

You'll need to re-submit your complaint, this time to Barclaycard.

You should note that, if all you have is the address you lived at and no details of the account, then it's doubtful that you'll get very far with this eighteen years on.

You have no access to the Ombudsman, until the correct recipient of your complaint has had eight weeks to consider it.

Any reason why you have waited almost a year before chasing this?
