Can you contact the agency to see what they say about the tax and NI? There seems to be more instances on this forum of people being made responsible for their own tax/Ni with no guidance as to how to do that. Dealing with it ASAP is essential though as HMRC would be a priority debtor. Is there any information on any other the other boards that could help? Or is this a case of going to the Inland Revenue and discussing a way forward with them? Or would someone like StepChange or Christians Against Poverty be better able to give a steer?
