Yesterday we were told that we would be going home on a plane from Manchester about an hour after it arrived in Tenerife. It would be TOM2691.
We have been told by the Thomson representative that the plane did not land, where is it?
It's chaos here!
I have the following which suggest that the plane did land, I had tracked it 2/3 of the way here. Any ideas, the reps here are doing their best.

Have you got any Avios for an Iberia or BA flight?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0

"Avios?"
Not sure what you mean, new to me.

Avios used to be called Air Miles. Point being, investigate other ways of getting home rather than relying on an organisation that is in chaos.
Which organisation is in chaos ?
Just curious.0 -

It appears to have been late, landing at 3:24am local.

that's not what you said 5 minutes before writing the above;
"Thomsons (as was), now TUI, have a reputation for shambolic customer service."

Thomsons customer service (which is variable as I said), is a different issue from flight operational problems - and one late flight hardly makes it an organisation in chaos.
A touch of Daily Mail style hyperbole.0 -

actually you said it was 'shambolic' which is a lot nearer chaos than variable.
And of course the face of any company is customer service, if that is bad they will look bad, period, however good they may be behind the scenes.
The Thompson rep did a bad job of providing timely and accurate information to the OP, so quite correctly it looked like chaos to them. The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
Has this plane been found?
I've left my landing light on but no sign of it.
