Leaking roof after recent snow?

Woke up this morning to find drips falling from the ceiling onto my face.
In the attic i have drips coming out of the end of the felt sheets from the roof and the water going through the insulation down into the house.
This is the first time i've noticed this and wondered if it might have something to do with this recent snow.
I'm wondering if the roof is failing, most of the problem is over the one side of the roof down by the guttering, the vents are clear so i don't think that's the problem.
I notice wet patched on the wooden trusses s which concerns me in case they might rot.
The house is not even that old it was built in 1976.
I'm wondering if i might need a new roof however, this would make me the first person in this whole area to need a new roof.

Looks like the felt sheets inside are sagging down with moisture, when i move one of the sheets i can see outside through a gap up in the tiles!Time Is The Enemy!0
