Go to a large Brokers such as Towergate. They will run through a questionaire and then see which Insurers offers best quote to cover your risk.
It is not worth asking others on here what Insurers they found were cheapest, because there are so many variable factors, that what others might have found is totally different to what you are quoted. E.g exact construction, when it was built, postcode, near a river, previous claim experience etc. A long list of factors.The comments I post are personal opinion. I assume you live in an area with a high percentage of Thatched properties, if so try a local broker as they will know which Insurers offer good cover / prices0
