If, like me, you live in an older house with plain tiles, it might be a good idea to check your attic.
I've just been up into mine to check the mouse traps and found a couple of rapidly melting snow drifts up there... and a dead mouse.

Not surprising - that snow will blow in anywhere! I suppose I should pop my head up through the loft hatch really.0
