Reclaiming ppi on old accounts

Hi im trying to help my mum claim back ppi from years ago. Firstly i dont have a clue on ppi but she had an account with MFI which had a hefty ppi payment but how do i go bout putting in a complaint bout ppi for them? I cant find anything on here thanks in advance

MFI ceased trading almost a decade ago. In addition, if your mother's PPI is from earlier than 2005 then any complaint is pre-regulation and there is no one left to complain to.
