UKCPS Parking Fine and Miah Solicitors

First of all, I would like to say thank you in advance for reading this thread and would appreciate any help in the matter.
This morning, I received a letter from 'Miah Solicitors' acting on behalf UKCPS regarding an unpaid parking fine from 23rd December 2016. I ignored the previous letters I received from UKCPS and the debt collectors (Looking through from other threads I've realised this was probably not the best way to approach the situation and should have probably acted on it earlier).
The letter contains a breakdown of the fees - as follows:
£100 for the initial parking fee.
£60 for Legal fees
and a further £25 if it was to go to court.
I received the parking notice due to parking on an unmarked bay in a retail park (one of those side islands). Due to the busy christmas period, all the parking bays were full. I stayed for around 5 minutes, and came back out to see a man walking swiftly away from my car after placing a parking ticket.
I've been looking at several threads on the forum today regarding the matter, however I am still unsure of the best way to approach the situation. Would it be wise to pay the fee or continue the appeal?
I understand that a good first port of call would be to attempt to get a Landowner Cancellation - although as the retail park consisted of many different shops - I'm not sure how to approach this and where to get the landowner details from,
Also, regarding the letter, I've read many posts with people referring to a '14 day' contact period, to pay the 'fine' although on my letter states '7 days'.
Any help on the matter would be truly appreciated.
As a new user I'm unable to post a link to the letter - I will post it as a new comment on this thread.
If this does not work, please message me directly and I will send over the link to the letter.
Thanks guys,
Sam

You won't be able to post live links due to being a new user, however, if you use a hosting site (tinypic or imgur) and then post a dead link, for example hxxp://imgur....., someone will make it live for you.I'm still having trouble posting the link to the letter. Miah are well know on this forum, search for previous involvement in parking scams.
This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences.
Parking Eye, Smart and a smaller company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (who take hundreds of these cases to court, and nearly always lose), who have also been reported to the regulatory authority.
The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind most of these companies may well be put out of business by Christmas.

Yes exactly like that.
They seem to be saying it is a Letter Before Claim - see the start of the third paragraph.
In which case you need to respond robustly with one of the templates in the start of post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ stick thread.
For a start, any compliant LBC needs to give 30 days notice of impending court action. Have alook at the NEWBIES post mentioned to see exactly what else they have got wrong.0
