Charged more than website stated at checkout

Hi all.
Took advantage of a bundle deal on some lights on a reputable retailers website. The price stated was £88.04 after discounts were applied vs the original bundle price of £499.99.
After going through checkout the price to pay was £88.04, a steal I thought, so I clicked order and pay.
Low and behold I picked up the items through click and collect service, but upon checking the email I notice it stated a larger amount and indeed my card has been charged in excess of £360!!
I will be going directly to the retailer to query this as it was not the price stated on the screen when I clicked order and pay - I screenshotted it at the time as it seemed too good to be true.
My query is - do they have to honour the advertised price, or are they perfectly within their rights to tell me it's £88.04 and then go on to charge me £360+?
Thanks.

If you ordered a bundle deal, it wasn't per chance for four lights, and the £88.04 was the per light equivalent? 4 x 88.04 = £352.16. Add on a delivery charge and £360ish would be about right...0

Nope. It stated the total discount and provided me a "Total to pay" for whole order at bottom with my card details alongside it. There was no delivery charge as it's C&C.0

So which was the retailer & what were their T&C's ?0

It was John Lewis. Just seems like a glitch to me. Haven't checked their T&C's but will do so now.0

They don't have to honour the advertised price. If it's a misprice (and your suggestion that it sounds 'too good to be true' suggests it is) then they can just cancel it.
What they cannot do is charge you a different figure, without your agreement.
Most likely they'll agree to just cancel the order.0 -
Excellent thank you.
Guess I'll call them and see what's what!0
