How can I block someone on gmail?

I report them as spam everytime, maybe 20 times but they still come through as primary email

I have followed the advice on google, it says click on the right bar and choose block, but that option it's just not there on my iPad gmail.

How Can I block them please?

1. On a computer (get a friend to do it if you don't have a computer?) Block sender instructions here (just tested and works)

2. And if that doesn't work create a filter...

(click on Create a new filter)
Enter the senders email address then click on Create filter with this search , then select Delete it and then Create filter

Thanks so much, so can't do it on an iPad?

I may go to Internet cafe or something I don't have a computer.

Did you actually try to click on those links? (to open browser rather than use Gmail app?) Sorry, don't have an ipad here.

As above, can you access Gmail via your browser on the iPad? Even if only to block someone (can you really not block on the app?)

are you clicking on the right '3 dots'? just tried it on android app and block sender is there when you click on the '3 dots' within message. can't believe it wouldn't be available on apple tablet as important feature
