Hi Scottygirl,
We have had a memoryfoam mattress topper for 9 months now. They are very comfortable but because they reflect the heat back at you we get very warm. We ended up using less covers to balance it out. I would still recommend one however as they are very comfortable. Ours has a tendancy to ride up the bed so look for one with elastic ties to keep it down.0 -
PS. Ours is 50 mm thick.0

I have a memory foam bed....best thing I have ever bought!
I was greatly troubled with back pain and seldom have it on rising from bed now!
I don't know about the topper....but I will never go back to a conventional bed again!Many a Mickle makes a Muckle!0 -
Love my memory foam mattress topper, very very comfortable, Going to get the base with spring and memory foam in the near future, but def the toppers are well worth it with your bed only being 2yrs old and hard it will be really comfie with one on, they do tend to ride up slightly but not too much of a problem.
btw the first night I sleep on mine I was quite uncomfortable but after a couple of nights it felt great no lumps bumps pure bliss well worth it had it about 10 months now.0 -
I've had a topper for about 2 years now and love it. It's about 2 inch thick, I haven't noticed it riding up and yes it can get a little too warm on hot summer nights, but I wouldn't take it off. My mattress was too hard, now it's just right. The bed looks and is taller than before, but after a while it seems normal.0
