BT Multiple DDs Each Month

Hi,
I'm with BT and my Broadband along with my phone usage is around £30-£35 each month and I pay the line saver annually.
I've taken my eye off the ball a little and over the last four months on three occasions they have taken two payments out each month for varying amounts, so for example on Feb 9th they took out £29.78 and on February 25th they took out £31.99. My DD date is supposed to be on the 9th so I am not sure why there would be more than one DD each month. I only noticed this month as the second DD caused my account to go into negative. Before I contact BT, is there any reason why they would be going into my account twice each month for DDs? Obviously the over-payments are a separate subject.
