Changing joint account to sole account

I have an old joint account at Santander with my husband which has two direct debits for magazine subscriptions (which I will not be renewing). I was looking at switching this for a bonus, but thought if I could take my name off it and have it as a sole account for my husband only, then he could take advantage of either M&S or MBNA which I have as sole accounts.
I have already done switches for us both with Halifax (fantastic for paying out), Nat West and recommend a friend at Nationwide.
I have looked on the search option on Santander but cannot find if I can do this. Anyone help please?
