Universal Credit Work review meeting rescheduled

Hello there,
I'm seeking full time work, and have been claiming Universal Credit since November. Every couple of weeks, as is par for the course, I have MY work review with my appointed work coach (who is lovely, it has to be said, and very supportive of me and frequently tells me that I am the most diligent and grafting of all her clients she sees with my efforts to secure my next role).
Obviously with the weather having been the way it has in the last week, I had an email on my Universal Credit journal at about 2pm today from the manager of the JCP I attend my work review meetings at, advising that my next work review meeting - which was scheduled to be on Monday morning (5th March) - has now been postponed for two weeks from today on 16th March.
I immediately left a message on my journal for my work coach regarding this, I also rang the UC freephone number at about 3pm today and spoke to a lady and explained the situation to her. She told me that my previously scheduled appointment for this Monday is now cancelled as they've obviously had to reschedule the meetings and appointments they cancelled for today and yesterday because of the bad weather, and she also left a message on my journal to this effect.
Regardless, and even with DWP's reassurances that rescheduled appointments because of the severe weather won't affect payments on their Twitter account today, I am still considering going there Monday anyway to show my face to my work coach so she knows that I did come and can vouch for me, but my parents think I'm neurotic for even entertaining the notion.
I'm only thinking of going there Monday regardless of the rescheduled work review appointment, because you hear so many horror stories of people being told to attend one appointment by DWP, and who then get sanctioned through no fault of their own, which has left me a little untrusting of them to say the least, because this is the only source of income I have at the moment and I can't afford to have it stopped, even if the reasons are beyond my control.
Am I neurotic? Or am I better being safe and going for my own piece of mind rather than risk not getting paid?

Yes, you're being neurotic (your words!). If you don't have an appointment on Monday (you don't), then you will not be seen. Don't waste your time.0
