Received my Sainsburys 0% card and PIN this week.
Went out online and to the high street to use it.
Declined.
Called up Sainsburys, who I understand are based in Scotland somewhere. Their call centre is closed due to weather. Since Tuesday.
So since receiving my card over 5 working days ago I have not been able to use it.
Whilst I understand weather happens, I'm sure Sainsburys would not have such a sympathetic approach to me if I was to miss a payment due to 'weather'. I am missing out now on 1 week of the 0% deal. Can I get the promotion period extended by the same duration??

No, but they wrote a late payment fee into the agreement, whereas you didn't put a late card fee in.

You can ask, but probably not. End dates are set by account creation dates.0
