Best reward option for house improvement payments?

I'm buying a period house with my girlfriend and we want to make substantial renovations.
We will likely spend 30 - 50K over one year and ideally would like to get some payback/rewards on these payments.
What is the best way to get some rewards for these payments?
We are open to cash back / goodies / airmiles etc...
The house improvements would typically be rewiring, central heating, new kitchen & bathroom, loft conversion etc
Thanks for the advice

Will your suppliers take cc? If not then money transfers at least give 0% (but there will be a fee)I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

well if not credit cards then the other option would be to have a Tesco bank debit card so we could at least collect Tesco points.0

And don't forget to use cashback sites (Topcash and Quidco) for stuff that you're buying for the new house. I made a decent chunk of money when I did up my house - buying kitchen appliances, paint - even insurances and utilities sign ups etc.0
