Yes, but I only need to pay for the landline and internet right? And not for digital TV. I'm looking to switch suppliers, so I'm thinking that I just need to look for a supplier/package offering broadband/internet, not digital TV.

Yes, if TalkTalk has provided the Youview box they may/may not want that back. Hopefully, another poster will be more au fait with their current contracts.

Of course, you need to be out of your minimum term before dropping the TV aspect.

I am currently paying TT just over £30 a month for digital TV/broadband/phone, when I could be paying Plusnet £10.24 per month

I wouldn't call £30 month expensive for that,
but if you are happy to move supplier you can get these amazing deals.

The plusnet £10/month will only last 12/18 months (weren't they ending today??)

also worth negotiation maybe with TT. Say your leaving because of price

I highly doubt I have a smart TV (which was given to me by my dad). Silly question I know, but do you know how I could check? I'm guessing if I disconnect my youview box, then the Netflix app should still come up as an option?

How old is the TV ?

OP, I have a Youview box that I got with PlusNet - I am now with Virgin. The freeview element and the apps all still work fine. If that's how you connect to Netflix, it will work after you finish with TT. Only caveat is if they ask for their box back - my son was with them, and they didn't ask for his back when he left.

If you have no TVL, I'd suggest you need to make sure you don't have an aerial plugged into your box or TV, just connect it straight up to the internet.
