Why are you pretending that you are asking the question on behalf of a friend?

Judging by your previous threads, it looks pretty much like it's you!

Are you working for the establishment Cheeky_Monkey ?

If I have got 4 children then there's one or two I don't know about. My mum is not 80 and I haven't got anybody paying into a pension for me (mores the pity).

Some of my previous questions are based on what friends have told me and I'm asking questions pretending it's me who's asking.

    Nice try sherlock :)

Back to what molerat said about only being able to put up to your income amount into a pension, does that apply if somebody else i.e. his mum, is paying into it?

You might get more help with pensions on the pensions forum, if you PM me I can move it there or you could ask there yourself?

    Thanks venison and p00sticks.
Yes, good idea about asking about the pension in a different forum. However, if my friends mum does pay into his pension,a less amount than his earnings, will this has any effect on his tax credits claim?
