Starbucks Euro Garages

The driver has recently been given 2 letters from Euro garages, the usual 14 day notice letter then the parking fine going up £90 from £50
The driver has now received a letter from debt recovery plus saying I must pay £150. The driver has looked in the thread and gathered that they should still ignore this.
My question is, apparently if the driver was to park in that car park again and go into the Starbucks, they can tell the people at Starbucks that they have parked there and they record it and it then allows you to park there for longer than 60 minutes.
This is what they did the day of the fine, they had parked there to go into Starbucks and do revision with another colleague from work, who also got a fine but apparently they did not let anyone at Starbucks know.
Would it be possible to ask Starbucks to provide some proof they were there in order to appeal?

Ask them to get it cancelled!! You are a good customer of theirs!!
Throughout here you are advised never to reveal who was driving
You need to edit your post to remove details of who was driving
The ppcs monitor this forum and can use your posts against you0 -
Post four of the newbies sticky covers DRP completely. The rest of the thread will inform you properly about the true nature of private parking. Appealing at this stage is near-futile.
As suggested above, a strong complaint to Starbucks to have them arrange a cancellation is the way to go but TBH, it is better gone for before the debt vultures start circling.0 -
As above, edit your post to remove information about who did what. Only ever refer to The Driver and The Keeper.
Yes to ignoring debt crawlers. Did you ignore the original PCN/NTK, if so, why? That hasn't been advised here since the law changed in 2012.
Yes you should go back to the shop and ask the manager to get this cancelled. No matter what they say, keep insisting, pointing out that this is a scam.
Show him/her the comments from MPs and ask why Starbucks are condoning this scam.
Complain to your MP as well.
These are some of the comments made by the MPs in Parliament concerning the unregulated parking industry (Feb 2018):

''Rip-offs from car park Cowboys must stop''; unfair treatment; signage deliberately confusing to ensure a PCN is issued; ''years of abuse by rogue parking companies''; bloodsuckers; ''the current system of regulation is hopeless, like putting Dracula in charge of the blood-bank''; extortionate fines; rogue operators; ''sense of injustice''; unfair charges and notices; wilfully misleading; signage is a deliberate act to deceive or mislead; ''confusing signs are often deliberate, to trap innocent drivers''; unreasonable; a curse; harassing; operating in a disgusting way; appeals service is no guarantee of a fair hearing; loathed; outrageous scam; dodgy practice; outrageous abuse; unscrupulous practices; ''the British Parking Association is as much use as a multi-storey car park in the Gobi desert''; and finally, by way of unanimous conclusion: ''we need to crack down on these rogue companies. They are an absolute disgrace to this country. Ordinary motorists and ordinary residents should not have to put up with this''.
These are the exact words used, so you should quote them to your MP in a complaint and ask him/her to contact Sir Greg Knight MP if he wants further information about this scam.I married my cousin.
