Eon smart gas meter switching gas off by itself

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone on the forum is having a similar experience, but starting last November we seems to run into a mythical phenomenon that our heating/boiler switches off by itself every two weeks. Initially we thought this was due to a faulty boiler - but our plumber quickly discovered that this was due to the fact that the gas has turned off and we had to press button on the meter, waiting for some text to appear and gas would be on again.
This happens every two weeks or so since then.:(
I searched on the forum and ran into this thread that dated back to 2016, suggesting that our issue could be caused by a faulty Eon Meter.

Has anyone run into a similar problem here? How did you get it sorted out in the end?
Many thanks in advance!
Joseph

Good morning josephincharge and welcome to the forum.
The best thing to do in this situation is to speak to our Smart department, it may be that you need an appointment booking to look at the meter
I must say it does sound odd that it's happening every two weeks, what does the text sayy on the meter?
The number for the smart guys is on our website, I'd have a word with them as soon as you can.
Hope it's sorted quickly for you.
Thank you.
