Go and have a chat with him?0

Have a chat with him, but if you wanted to claim on MY insurance, I know what my answer would be,
If you have your insurance, claim on that, that is what you pay for!0 -
Claim from your insurance and use the photos so they can claim off his or sue him yourself.Very basic question which I am hoping someone can help with - A spark from my neighbours bonfire has set fire to my back fence panel and adjacent dog kennel. I have taken photos of him hastily raking over the fire ashes and want to send them to his insurance company as partial support for my claim. Can I do this without getting into trouble as he was in his garden when I took them and I was in mine?0 -
When I had a fire and it damaged neighbours property, my insurance paid them for repairs.0

When I had a fire that damaged my neighbours property, they were advised to claim on their own insurance, who would then claim from mines.
Their insurer didn't claim from mines, as, apparently, I hadn't been negligent.0 -

Spot on. The neighbour's insurance company will say go away, you don't have insurance with us! My guess is neither insurer will be interested in the photos, let alone any privacy implications. They'll probably think it's a bit odd.0 -
And yet the neighbours insurers haven't said go away you aren't insured with us! If you have no relevant expertise or knowledge to be able to answer the question I have asked, which is are there any privacy implications regarding the photo I took of him trying to cover up his negligence, then please don't comment. I have already spoken to the guy and he is denying any responsibility but has asked his insurance company to deal with it. Thank you to those who have offered comments on the question I actually asked :T:T0
