Don't get me started on NHS mental health services they are beyond useless, all they are interested in is that he takes his meds, as long as I am around they are happy that I keep him relatively stable making sure he takes his meds. I could tell you some real horror stories over the years, they are not interested in dealing with his core issues through fear of destabilising him.

I try my best to keep him comfortable especially after a seizure. but a get the feeling that I will be fighting a very stressful losing battle with this. Yes it would be much better for him if he could have a room of his own in the house, my guess though is most likely they won't allow it and I don't think he would be overly bothered.

If such accommodation is available to your husband, he could take it (no reason why you shouldn't visit).

You could formally separate and each apply for benefits applicable to your individual situations?
