Disklok - best price

Hi... after some advice.

We've just bought a new car, on finance and don't really want it stolen any day soon so researching the best steering wheel lock for starters... Any advice on the best one? We were think the disklok, does anyone know of any discount codes for shops selling them or know of any great deals anywhere?

Basically we want to spend (can just about afford to spend) about £50 on some security...

Contact your local Council/Community Safety Partnership.

Ours subsidise Thatcham cat 3 (the best) steering locks so that it cost me £25 for one rather than £50-£75.

They may have a similar scheme, if not they will be able to recommend a good supplier.

I've got a Disklok and would definitely recommend buying one. Go for the yellow, which is much easier to see and therefore puts thieves off more readily than the silver and chrome versions.
Before I had one, on several occasions someone attempted to steal my car - once I got a disklok this stopped completely.

Got mine from Saunderson Security (Google them) which does them for £70 including VAT and delivery.

There may be better deals out there now but this was the cheapest at the time.
