Hey everyone-
I'm currently looking to buy my first home, Iv spoken to a mortgage adviser and submitted an application awaiting approval, I was supposed to hear back on Monday however they didn't get in touch, we are now suffering very bad snow in Glasgow so I doubt I'll hear anything for another few days yet. Today I have checked my clearscore account and there is a search done in the history by the mortgage company, this is currently showing in green!! Does this mean it's been a successful search i.e. Approved? Or are all recent searches showing as green? Any help from anyone who would know would be much appreciated don't want to get my hopes up due to the colour only for it not to go through !!!128584; Thanks in advance

i would imagine that the colour coding is from clearscore only and relates to the impact of the search on their score of you. i think that all the entry means is that the mortgage provider has checked your file - it is not a gauge at all as to whether or not it means your application has been approved.0

Why would you not hear from your broker because of snow? Are phone lines/broadband down?
Im still speaking to my customers
