Draughty keylock in upvc door

Options
With the latest beast coming in from the East, I have realised that my upvc front door is pretty much useless at stopping any sort of draught.

I might need to check if its misaligned and sort out the gale through the letterbox, however the draught coming through the keyhole is surprising.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can stop this? All of the draught excluding plates/escutcheon plates seem to be for mortice style locks.

My door furniture lock looks similar to this picture below

Thanks in advance

You need handles with keyhole covers. Check this link to see what I mean then search for handles with flaps!, Alternatively, masking tape!

Thanks for the link - Ive googled and found loads of those style but I dont see how they will be of any use on my door furniture as its the wrong shape. - The round bit would just overhang each side of the lock.

I just cut a piece of metal to the shape I wanted & fitted it to the door furniture with a self tapping screw.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

Can you insert the key to shut out some of the draught in the short term.

The point of the link was to give you some idea about what you could use but you will have to replace the complete handle with one that has the correct size flap .............. or a bit of masking tape, gaffer tape or, as has just been suggested a blob of blutack.

Try taking the handle off and depending on the cut out for the handles, either silicone seal around the cylinder and use a foam bung arond the spindle, or use foam around both, any foam can be used even the foam lagging for central heating pipes can be cut to the right shape. If it's still coming through the key hole itself then as already suggested a blob of bluetack is safer than leaving the key in place

As a temporary measure just stuff something like cotton wool or tissue into the hole for now.
