Sunvic Sunstat problems

DD moved into newish new build house with Worcester boiler and Two Sunviv Sunstats controlling upstairs and downstairs-both wired, not wireless, model no.TLX700, I think. All working ok then last week the upstairs started to play up and wont turn off the boiler so heating stays on unless you turn the boiler down. As this thermostat/programmer is solid state & only 2 years old what are the chances of it going wrong? The instructions are useless and to me are really complicated! I thought of swapping the upstairs with the downstairs one to see if there is a difference. Batteries ok.Any advice would be appreciated

May well be the motorised valve which controls the upstairs zone, rather than the thermostat. To check, you'd need a multi-meter and be competent to work with mains voltage electricity.
A good heating engineer should be able to sort it out fairly quickly.0
