Admiral Car Insurance- Help?

Apologies in advance for the length of the post.
I recently received a letter from Kindertons, a claims management company, asking for my insurance details about an accident I’d allegedly had on a Morrison’s car park. There was no accident and I wasn’t even there on the alleged date but unfortunately, can’t prove that.
I rang my insurers, Admiral who said that a claim had been made. Despite me telling them that there was no accident to start with, I’ve been told I’ve got to take my car to their assessors to see what damage there is on my car to get a quote for repair. Despite the same conversation 3 times about a lack of accident, Admiral have contacted the assessors to say my car is immobile from the accident. Yet when questioned, don’t have a record who said this or why.
I’ve asked about the alleged claim from Kindertons, yet Admiral claim to have little, to no information. They don’t even know what damage has supposedly been caused to the other vehicle. Apparently the answer to the questions on the claim form say ‘Unknown’.
My policy is due to renew next week and Admiral have said it’ll now be £418 more, despite me disputing the claim and telling them ithd accident didn’t happen.
Googling Kindertons, I’ve found an old post where someone was querying an identical case. Accident on a Morrison’s car park that they knew nothing about, he was an Admiral customer due to renew etc. I believe it to be a fraudulent case but I’m going blue in the face talking to Admiral.
Can anyone offer any help/guidance please, I’m st my wits end.
Thanks in advance.

i would suggest the insurance ombudsman, free service and they will be able to help you. Thanks Vinny0

Whenever you are unhappy with your insurer then your route is to make a formal complaint in line with their complaints procedure. This will be set out in the policy documents
Then if you are dissatisfied with the response or they ignore you for 8 weeks you can escalate to the FOS for their adjudication at no cost to you0
