McDonalds - MetParking - Popla appeal

Hello. I'm appealing a MET parking invoice at McDonalds and am composing an appeal via POPLA website (already appealed to MET and quite unexpectedly failed ; )

I'm sorry if this is on the forum somewhere but I can't find it if it is.

The 'newbie' thread about parking tickets suggests ignoring the text box in a POPLA appeal and just place everything in a long PDF. However, looking at another thread about a 2018 appeal (I'm too new to include links) it seems to suggest just using the 2000 word text box and not making any appeal too long.

Which is best?
Thanks in advance.

Use the guidance in the NEWBIES thread post #3.
I.e. send a pdf attachment using 'other'.

I guess the 'other post' was about sending comments on the operator's submission.

    And it's a 2000 character text box, not a 2000 word text box. :D

    AS ABOVE

PDF CHOOSING OTHER FOR A POPLA APPEAL

then use the 2000 word box for comments about their evidence pack later

the 2 are not the same

This is answered in the NEWBIES thread post #3 already.

It was this (below), dated 24th feb 2018 on thread 5797930 that confused me. I have read the 'newbie' thread and was looking for anyone who posted any similar MET / POPLA appeals. As this was newer, I wasn't sure:

You will find that the PoPLA response box allows 2000 characters.

You will need to be much more concise."

    I'm sorry if I misunderstood.

    Yup, PoPLA response box.

    Talking about something different.

That was about POPLA 'comments' on the evidence, a later stage.

I am indeed a newbie. I see the difference now. (all that text on that thread blurred my brain) Thanks for the replies.

I see on the newbie thread that there are 3 main sections of text set out for appeal: signage, not pursuing the driver & Landowner Authority. Are these the most prudent arguments to include?
This was at a local McDonalds. The driver was inside the whole time but overstayed, unaware of the 90 min limit or the penalty charge (despite all the signs). What annoys me is that McD have the ability to over-ride this system but make no effort to inform customers. Meaning there is an ability to stay longer than the signed time limit. We have receipts to confirm purchases.

    Any advise gratefully received.

'Are these the most prudent arguments to include?' by this I mean are there any more to include
