Hmmm. I've tried twice, about 12 hours apart, to open an issue 29 account. Both times, after going through all the application screens and hitting "submit" I got this message: "We are very sorry - we are currently experiencing technical difficulties. Please try again in a few hours."
I seem to remember that happening before, and in that case the "technical difficulties" actually turned out to be withdrawal of the issue.
Must have made about six attempts now. I wish they would tell you about the technical difficulties before you start instead of after you have filled everything in, yet again!0 -

In my case this message was because they had blocked my account for some spurious reason. I had to call them and confirm the TSB DD details (that were correct and already had deposits taken from) for one of my Online Saver a/cs to get my account unblocked and allow new applications to go through.0 -
I've been trying for a week without success for my parents, but I tried today for myself after reading the comment about account being blocked and mine opened without any problems. Can't think of any reason my parents account would be blocked as only hold 1 sole account each and money's been claimed for over a year without any problems.0

Can anyone see where you can check repeat payments now the website has changed?
I set up a repeat payment to cover one of the cancelled Tesco's ones, and the DD has come out on the 21st but I just want to check that it is set for repeat and not one off.
I know you used to click Move Money in and then click of repeat payments to edit or amend.
I can see it on the new system, has anyone else found it?

Can anyone see where you can check repeat payments now the website has changed?
I changed my linked account and wanted to set up a repeating DD. The DD setup process kept on failing with no reason given as to why - in the end I assumed I had put in a start date which was too early and there should have been a pop-up box explaining this which was not being displayed.
Finally the details were accepted and I got a confirmation screen, but then I couldn't find any kind of payment management page to see the DD was really there.
I set the DD up as early as possible in May so if it fails there would still be enough time to get it re-arranged before the end of the month."In the future, everyone will be rich for 15 minutes"0 -
I don't like the new system, When you can a transfer out to the linked account it was in around 6-7am. Now it's not till midday. Rather annoying.0

To be able to see your DD payment set up, you click on the circle with the 3 dots in and then DD. I had this trouble last month and was given the answer on the forum.0
